It is with great sadness to advise all the members of the New South Wales Group that on Friday the 3rd September 2021, Ean passed away after losing his battle with cancer.

Ean Vincent Rosenburg joined the league on 29th August 1996 and was the Officer Commanding Ross Smith Wing for the best part of 20 years and was also the Officer Commanding of Coffs Harbour Squadron for 24 years.

Following in his fathers’ footsteps, he was also an officer in Queensland City of Brisbane Company 1939.

Ean was a man who believed wholeheartedly in the Australian Air League, and it’s aims and objects, working tirelessly for his squadron and the cadets, right up until his passing on Friday.

A true and honest friend, Ean was an officer and a gentleman who will be sadly missed by all his friends in the League.

New South Wales Group members extend their deepest sympathy to his wife Jan, daughter Laura and son in law.
May he rest in Peace.

Air League Mourning Period
The Period of mourning will be for two weeks commencing 0001 hours on Monday 6th September and ending at 0001 hours on Monday 20th September. Please refer to the AAL Manual at Section 10 Para 32 for details.
