FRO 14 2020 National Redress Scheme

Information about the National Redress Scheme from COL:

1.0 It is advised that the League has been notified that it has passed the Financial Surety
Assessment which now enables the final step in the on-boarding process to be carried out.
2.0 The final step is the declaration by the Minister for Families and Social Services that the
League is a participant in the NRS. This is anticipated to occur in the coming weeks.
3.0 Once the declaration has occurred, it is likely that the claims process will be activated soon
thereafter. Owing to the nature of the process used by the NRS, most claims will have a high
likelihood of being successful.
4.0 Further communication on this topic will be forthcoming in mid to late January 2021, once
the declaration has occurred, and as the League’s members are preparing to commence their
2021 activities.
